Hydraulic Power Unit
The automatic hydraulic power unit features a dual-stage pump and is controlled by the PX6 Pro touchscreen control unit. It is designed to transfer oil to the piston in a controlled manner to provide the necessary pressure in the loading body.
The control unit is easy to use and compactly structured, and is designed independently of the test frame to increase accessibility and test accuracy.
The quietly operating hydraulic power unit can load between 1 kN/s and 20 kN/s with an accuracy of ±5%. The hydraulic pump group is equipped with a safety valve (maximum pressure valve) to prevent overloading.
The maximum operating pressure of the system is up to 700 bar.
The Dual-Stage Pump consists of two groups:
• High-flow, low-pressure gear pump
• High-pressure radial piston pump
The high-flow, low-pressure gear pump is used for rapid preloading.
The high-pressure radial piston pump provides the high-pressure oil required for the test.
Thanks to the high-speed loading pump, the device automatically starts loading quickly; the rapid approach ends when the sample contacts the top plate, and loading continues at the speed selected by the user. If the sample breaks, the test stops automatically. This allows the user to perform many experiments in a short time.
Motor
The AC motor, controlled by a 1.5 kW inverter, drives the dual-stage pump. Changes in oil flow are achieved by changing the motor`s rotational speed.
Distribution Block
The distribution block is used to control the flow direction of the oil supplied by the dual-stage pump.
The distribution block includes a solenoid valve, safety valve (maximum pressure valve), pressure transducer, high-flow low-pressure gear pump, and high-pressure radial piston pump.
High-precision Pressure Transducer
Thanks to the high-precision pressure transducer, Profix6 Automatic Test Presses can be upgraded to Class 1 calibration capability, starting from 1% of full capacity up to full capacity.
This unique performance allows the machine to be used for numerous applications, including:
• Early age (2 or 3 days) concrete compressive strength tests,
• Bending tests using appropriate apparatus,
• Mortar (cement) compressive strength tests using appropriate compression testing apparatus,
• Core (small diameter) compressive strength tests,
• Tensile rupture tests
• Tensile strength tests
Oil Tank
The oil tank contains sufficient oil to fill the hydraulic system and push the piston during the test. The oil level and temperature can be seen on the indicator on the oil tank. The tank has a capacity of 12 liters. 46 grade hydraulic motor oil should be used.
Digital Data Acquisition and Control System
The PX6 Pro touch control unit is designed to automatically perform compression, flexure, and splitting tensile strength tests of construction materials such as concrete, cement mortar, masonry units, and blocks by controlling the compression machines. All the operations of PX6 Touch are controlled from the front panel touch screen display.
PX6 Pro Touch Control Unit has easy to use menu options.It displays all menu option listings simultaneously, allowing the operator to access the required option in a seemless manner to activate the option or enter a numeric value to set the test parameters.
The PX6 Pro Control Unit allows for real-time display of machine status, test values, in-operation warnings, and test graphs such as load-time or load-displacement curves.
The digital graphic display can plot real-time "Load & Time" or "Stress & Time" graphs.
