Scléromètre à Béton

The Concrete Schmidt (Rebound) Hammer N Type is designed to determine the strength of concrete in finished structures by the method of elastic rebound.

The indications are determined with the help of nondestructive testing method. The device is made of aluminum, characterized by simple construction, easy use and maintenance.

Purpose of Usage:
Concrete Test Hammer (Schmidt Hammer) N Type is used to measure the compressive strength properties of hardened concrete by a non-destructive method, to determine the general quality of the concrete and the weak points in the concrete. The object to be tested must have a minimum thickness of 100 mm (3.9 inches).

The Advantages:

Principle of Operation:
The kick strikes against a hard surface, after which it bounces to a certain height (H) in conventional units of the scale of the device, which is an indirect characteristic of the strength of concrete for compression.
