The Specimen Cutting Machine is used for cutting process of compressive strength test samples (concrete, rock or natural stone, cores) to ensure the length-diameter ratio required according to the relevant test standards.

According to the relevant compressive strength test standards, in addition to the length to diameter ratio limits, tolerances regarding the flatness of the sample surfaces that will contact the pressure press loading plates and the perpendicularity of these surfaces to the sample axis must also be provided.

Special clamp assembly allows specimens to be held during cutting operation. The machine is supplied complete with “V shaped holder with fixing mechanism between Ø38mm to Ø110mm diameter specimens and a water circulation pump.

Cutting Blade and V shaped holder with fixing mechanism for Ø110mm to Ø160mm specimens should be ordered separately.
